Among 62 New York counties with published values, the counties with the highest lung cancer death rates are Schuyler County, NY (51.8, 1.72 times the U.S. rate of 30.2), Oswego County, NY (45.3, 1.5 times the U.S. rate of 30.2) and Hamilton County, NY (43.6, 1.44 times the U.S. rate of 30.2). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 28 of the 62 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
