Counties with the highest lung cancer death rates in Alabama

Among 67 Alabama counties with published values, the counties with the highest lung cancer death rates are Cherokee County, AL (56.7, 1.88 times the U.S. rate of 30.2), Franklin County, AL (54.6, 1.81 times the U.S. rate of 30.2) and Walker County, AL (54, 1.79 times the U.S. rate of 30.2). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 43 of the 67 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
