Among 110 Missouri counties with published values, the counties with the highest lung cancer death rates are Carter County, MO (91.7, 3.04 times the U.S. rate of 30.2), New Madrid County, MO (78.3, 2.59 times the U.S. rate of 30.2) and St. Francois County, MO (71.2, 2.36 times the U.S. rate of 30.2).
