Among 118 Kentucky counties with published values, the counties with the highest lung cancer death rates are Clinton County, KY (86.2, 2.85 times the U.S. rate of 30.2), Owsley County, KY (84.8, 2.81 times the U.S. rate of 30.2) and Butler County, KY (83.4, 2.76 times the U.S. rate of 30.2). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 108 of the 118 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
