Among 62 New York counties with published values, the counties with the highest cancer death rates are Schuyler County, NY (192, 1.34 times the U.S. rate of 143.2), Franklin County, NY (177.8, 1.24 times the U.S. rate of 143.2) and Chemung County, NY (176.8, 1.23 times the U.S. rate of 143.2). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 23 of the 62 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
