Among 87 Minnesota counties with published values, the counties with the highest cancer death rates are Wadena County, MN (213.3, 1.49 times the U.S. rate of 143.2), Mahnomen County, MN (209.7, 1.46 times the U.S. rate of 143.2) and Mille Lacs County, MN (189.6, 1.32 times the U.S. rate of 143.2). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 17 of the 87 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
