Counties with the highest cancer death rates in Alaska

Among 21 Alaska counties with published values, the counties with the highest cancer death rates are Kusilvak Census Area, AK (235.6, 1.65 times the U.S. rate of 143.2), Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, AK (225.8, 1.58 times the U.S. rate of 143.2) and Bethel Census Area, AK (215, 1.5 times the U.S. rate of 143.2). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 5 of the 21 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
