Counties with the highest cancer death rates in South Carolina

Among 46 South Carolina counties with published values, the counties with the highest cancer death rates are Dillon County, SC (218.2, 1.52 times the U.S. rate of 143.2), Fairfield County, SC (204.5, 1.43 times the U.S. rate of 143.2) and Chester County, SC (199.3, 1.39 times the U.S. rate of 143.2). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 33 of the 46 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
