Counties with the highest cancer incidence rates in North Carolina

Among 100 North Carolina counties with published values, the counties with the highest cancer incidence rates are Swain County, NC (581.7, 1.28 times the U.S. rate of 453.4), Richmond County, NC (566.3, 1.25 times the U.S. rate of 453.4) and Anson County, NC (554, 1.22 times the U.S. rate of 453.4). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 66 of the 100 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
