Among 39 Washington counties with published values, the counties with the highest cancer incidence rates are Clallam County, WA (497.4, 1.1 times the U.S. rate of 453.4), Pierce County, WA (497.3, 1.1 times the U.S. rate of 453.4) and Thurston County, WA (495.1, 1.09 times the U.S. rate of 453.4). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 10 of the 39 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
