Counties with the highest lung cancer incidence rates in Kentucky

Among 120 Kentucky counties with published values, the counties with the highest lung cancer incidence rates are McCreary County, KY (134.5, 2.6 times the U.S. rate of 51.8), Owsley County, KY (132.8, 2.56 times the U.S. rate of 51.8) and Powell County, KY (129.3, 2.5 times the U.S. rate of 51.8). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 115 of the 120 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
