Counties with the highest lung cancer incidence rates in Maryland

Among 24 Maryland counties with published values, the counties with the highest lung cancer incidence rates are Somerset County, MD (76, 1.47 times the U.S. rate of 51.8), Baltimore city, MD (71.3, 1.38 times the U.S. rate of 51.8) and Wicomico County, MD (68.1, 1.31 times the U.S. rate of 51.8). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 11 of the 24 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
