Among 102 Illinois counties with published values, the counties with the highest lung cancer incidence rates are Pulaski County, IL (110.6, 2.14 times the U.S. rate of 51.8), Christian County, IL (109, 2.1 times the U.S. rate of 51.8) and Alexander County, IL (108.1, 2.09 times the U.S. rate of 51.8). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 76 of the 102 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
