Counties with the highest melanoma incidence rates in Washington

Among 33 Washington counties with published values, the counties with the highest melanoma incidence rates are San Juan County, WA (41.7, 1.75 times the U.S. rate of 23.8), Island County, WA (39.2, 1.65 times the U.S. rate of 23.8) and Jefferson County, WA (33.6, 1.41 times the U.S. rate of 23.8). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 13 of the 33 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
