Among 2,362 U.S. counties with published values, the counties with the highest melanoma incidence rates are Kane County, UT (82.9, 3.48 times the U.S. rate of 23.8), Washington County, UT (82.8, 3.48 times the U.S. rate of 23.8) and Morgan County, UT (72.5, 3.05 times the U.S. rate of 23.8). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 707 of the 2,362 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
