Among 48 California counties with published values, the counties with the highest liver cancer death rates are Del Norte County, CA (11.9, 1.8 times the U.S. rate of 6.6), Tulare County, CA (11, 1.67 times the U.S. rate of 6.6) and Lake County, CA (10.9, 1.65 times the U.S. rate of 6.6). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 21 of the 48 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
