Among 37 Louisiana counties with published values, the counties with the highest liver cancer death rates are Allen Parish, LA (16.2, 2.45 times the U.S. rate of 6.6), St. Landry Parish, LA (13.1, 1.98 times the U.S. rate of 6.6) and Grant Parish, LA (12.7, 1.92 times the U.S. rate of 6.6). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 23 of the 37 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
