Counties with the highest thyroid cancer incidence rates (U.S.)

Among 1,627 U.S. counties with published values, the counties with the highest thyroid cancer incidence rates are Clay County, WV (37, 2.85 times the U.S. rate of 13), Bedford County, PA (33, 2.54 times the U.S. rate of 13) and Custer County, NE (30.5, 2.35 times the U.S. rate of 13). Values are per 100,000, age-adjusted. 236 of the 1,627 are significantly above the U.S. rate.
