Among 35 Michigan counties with published values, the counties with the highest infant mortality rates are Cheboygan County, MI (14.6, 2.35 times the U.S. county median of 6.2), Wayne County, MI (9.6, 1.55 times the U.S. county median of 6.2) and Saginaw County, MI (8.6, 1.39 times the U.S. county median of 6.2). Values are deaths under 1 per 1,000 births.
