Among 14 Maine counties with published values, the counties with the highest brain cancer incidence rates are Washington County, ME (10.6, 1.71 times the U.S. rate of 6.2), Somerset County, ME (9.3, 1.5 times the U.S. rate of 6.2) and York County, ME (8.7, 1.4 times the U.S. rate of 6.2).
